Grandparents

What a blessing it is to have grandparents! I am so thankful that my kids get to have a close relationship with their grandparents. We had a lot of fun when Babu and Soso were here. Daniel has missed them a lot since they left. Soso and Daniel would take long nature walks all over campus. Babu and Soso took Daniel on a bug hunt. He has bug catcher and they caught a lot of bugs. Daniel loves when Babu reads him stories. I know that these times when Daniel and Monica get to be held, loved on and kissed by Babu and Soso are very special. I wish that they could see them everyday!

Monica

We are so blessed to have a beautiful healthy baby girl. We are all adjusting to having a new little one around. She had her 2 week appointment today. She is growing and doing well.

Monica Marie Jones

My beautiful daughter has arrived. She was born 10 days early. She weighed 7 pounds 6 ounces. She was 20 inches long. And of course she is the so beautiful. We are truly blessed once again. The Lord has been good to us giving us two healthy beautiful children.

Monster Trucks

Last night we went to the Ionia county free fair. They had a event there involving monster trucks. Daniel was so excited he talked about it all day. Then when the event started the look on his face was priceless. He was smiling from ear to ear. It was a lot of fun to take him out there and see his eyes light up. At the end of the show they had a monster truck come out that they call the transformer. The front opened up and a robot looking guy came out. Daniel thought that was cool until it started talking. Then another robot came out and they "fought" to save planet earth. Daniel was so scared he was clinging to daddy with all his might. Overall it was a very fun trip out to the fair.

2) When I was a little girl my favorite movie was Nadia. I used to try to do gymnastic tricks like her.

5) I am not a morning person. I hate getting out of bed, and sometimes can be very grumpy about it.

Port Huron

Here are a couple more vacation picture. Right after we passed over the bridge from Canada back into the USA we stopped to enjoy the view of the St. Claire river, and Lake Huron.

Daniel Driving

Daniel loves his blue truck. Now that it is summer time and there is not a lot of traffic around here, we take him out and he can ride it all over this side of campus. He has a lot of fun.

The beach

We live about 40 minutes from Lake Michigan. The beaches along the lake are a lot of fun to go to.

Reeds Lake

We definitely live in the land of the lakes. Here is a lake that is about 5 minutes from our house. It is a beautiful park to go to. We enjoy going down there and walking around, and Daniel likes looking at the boats. When Daniel gets older this is a great place for kids to fish.

Random

Here are two random pictures of Daniel that I like. I love when he get really involved when he plays. It is always cute to watch him concentrate so hard on playing. The other picture is of him in his new PJ's that he got for his birthday. I am not sure what is up with his pose, but I find it to be very funny.

Daniel loves his bike that Babu and Soso got him for his birthday. He has a lot of fun riding it around and being a "big kid" like his other friends.

Daniel has gotten so big! It really sinks in when we go to the park and he is not afraid to try anything.

Happy 3rd Birthday Daniel

Happy Birthday to my sweet little boy. Thank you to all of our family who sent Daniel money and helped get some of the things that he really wanted. Here are some pictures of what he got. He was very excited about all his gifts. They included, a Mr. potato head, a spiderman sit and spin, little people garage, and a lightning mcqueen/mater pillow. Today we are picking up his birthday cake, so there will be more pictures to follow.
